Communion
Living a deep relationship with God.
“Our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.”1 John 1:3
What The Life Prayer stands on: the life of prayer that gives us our name, our core conviction and the faith we confess.
Our name
For us, prayer is never just an activity, an isolated moment in a day otherwise lived without Him. Little by little, it shapes who we are and the whole way we live.
Living a deep relationship with God.
“Our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.”1 John 1:3
Speaking with God and learning to discern what He says, with Scripture as the reference.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”John 10:27
Communion doesn't start when we close our eyes, and it doesn't end at amen.
“Pray without ceasing.”1 Thessalonians 5:17
Life itself becomes the expression of our relationship with God.
“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.”Romans 12:1
“A person who truly encounters God is never the same.”
That encounter gradually transforms character, prayer, relationships, work, family, all of life. God does not stop at the church walls.
The foundations of our faith, as set out in our statutes.
The Bible is the Word of God and the foundational reference for faith and doctrine.
One God, Creator, by whom and for whom all things exist, known in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
God and Son of God, who died and rose again, Lord and Savior. Salvation and eternal life are found in Him alone.
A divine person of the Trinity, whose power and work are fully active today.
Water baptism is for those who freely and knowingly choose to follow Christ.
We pray to God alone, never to the dead, to saints or to the stars.
It is legitimate when it builds up, teaches and blesses, in order, with Jesus at the center and never the messenger.
We await the return of Jesus Christ, the rapture of the Church and the realities the Bible announces for the end times.
We cannot live the Christian life, or do the work of God, without the Holy Spirit. We believe in His work and power today, as described in 1 Corinthians 12 to 14. The gifts function in order, with discernment and humility, to build up, encourage and glorify Christ.
The gift is not meant to showcase the one who manifests it, but to showcase Christ.
Going to people, proclaiming Christ and leading lives to Jesus.
Walking alongside, teaching, strengthening and training.
Seeing the transformation received in Christ reach every area of life.
From the person to the family, from the family to the community, then to cities and nations.
The Life Prayer is a ministry, not a denomination or a local church. We work alongside churches that share the same faith.
“Serving God and doing His will is the purpose of our life on earth.”
